Since 1983 we have offered a full range of Hand Bookbinding and Restoration services of extraordinary quality including repair, restoration and rebinding of antiquarian books as well as those of personal or family significance such as Bibles or a book of children's stories; design bindings that creatively interpret the book's content; slipcases, portfolio, dropspine and clamshell boxes for books and other items; paper and document repair; and edition binding for artists and small presses.

We work with paper, cloth, vellum, leather and gold leaf. All materials are chosen for durability, longevity and aesthetic quality.

Our clients include book dealers and collectors, families preserving their heritage for future generations, and institutions. Many have continued to use our services year after year.

ORIGINAL BOARDS--NEW SPINE: The original spine on this Cosway binding was severely damaged with sections missing. The boards were refurbished and a new spine with traditional gold leaf finishing was created to restore this volume to its original appearance.
